Heart to Heart

Heart to Heart is a cardiovascular disease prevention, awareness, and education program chartered and maintained by Dartmouth Medical School students and Good Neighbor Health Clinic. The only student-run cardiovascular education program in the area, Heart to Heart educates the medically underserved community regarding risk factors for cardiovascular disease and approaches for maintaining a "heart-healthy" lifestyle. Student volunteers work directly with patients, targeting education to each individual's specific cardiovascular risk factors, such as smoking and obesity.
