History: Snake, a seedy smuggler from the Ivory Coast, will ship at any risk, if you can pay the price. Von Chon is a stunted chain smoking criminal, a known trader in universal contraband, and the person responsible for giving Moose "Liquid Evil," addictive residue from biological warfare toxins. Most people do not trust Snake, especially his mother, whom he has sold several times. He lies, cheats, steals, and is particularly hard to get a hold of. Snake has no known address.

Name: Dr. C. Everett Koop

History: Dr. Koop is the motivation behind S.T.A.N.D. and was the first person to expose tobacco's harmful effects while he was the U.S. Surgeon General. Dr. Koop earned a reputation as a skilled clinician, brilliant researcher and outstanding surgeon during his lengthy career as a medical practitioner. After Koop's confirmation as the first full-time Surgeon General in over a decade, he went on to become the most respected public health leader in living memory and the nation's leading voice for tobacco control. Dr. Koop served as Surgeon General for eight years under Presidents Reagan and Bush and has continued to be a force for public health and health education, working from his base as a senior scholar at the C. Everett Koop Institute at Dartmouth.
