Research
All residents are required to complete a scholarly project that may be independent or may be part of one of the Section's active research projects, e.g., psychopharmacology, PDD, PTSD. Each resident is assigned a permanent research mentor at the outset of training who helps guide their choice of project and its implementation.
In addition, residents are required to participate in conferences and seminars which critically review the scientific literature and explain research methodology. In addition, residents actively participate in reviewing, analyzing and presenting research articles to peers, faculty, junior residents and medical students.
