Current InitiativesLake Sunapee Region Visiting Nurse Association Home Monitoring ProjectLake Sunapee Region Visiting Nurse Association (LSRVNA) has offices in New London and Newport, New Hampshire and serves Merrimack and Sullivan Counties. This agency made a decision to use telemedicine in 2000 in order to improve patient outcomes while managing the cost of quality health care. Currently, LSRVNA employs 75 home monitoring units. Examples of positive outcomes include a decrease in patients readmitted to the hospital, reductions in patients requiring urgent unplanned care, and overall increased patient satisfaction with services provided by LSRVNA.
