Crotched Mountain School Partnership Program
Since 1995, Crotched Mountain has partnered with school districts throughout New Hampshire and neighboring states to support students with neurological, genetic, and behavioral conditions. This includes students with sensory impairments (blind, visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind). The School Partnership Program (SPP) provides evaluation, education and consultation services on behalf of children and adolescents with special needs by working directly with parents and school staff in community school settings. This consultative model seeks to keep the student in his or her home setting.
Crotched Mountain offers two way interactive videoconferencing for feedback sessions after a student's initial evaluation. In addition, Crotched Mountain uses this technology to provide training and educational seminars on a variety of topics to school staff and other professionals who work with individuals with special needs.
