- Allen Dietrich, comm. & fam med, has been named to the US Preventive Services Task Force, the nation's leading panel for prevention and primary care.
- Diane Harper, comm & fam med, was lead author of a vaccine trial that was named runner up to the best medical research paper of 2006 by a panel of Lancet editors and an international advisory board.

- Jessica Morgan, James Town, and Kristen Yurkerwich, all med 2, accepted a Dartmouth 2007 Social Justice Award on behalf of the DMS Community Service Committee-Mascoma Clinic at a reception Jan. 26.
- Roy Wade, Jr., med, was one of five medical students named a GE Medical Scholar through the National Medical Fellowship program for fourth-year medical students to participate in a three-month elective in Ghana, W. Africa, focusing on critical need areas, beginning in February.
