Abstract Submission Information

Presentation Guidelines for Posters and Talks

Deadline For Submitting Abstracts: TUESDAY, January 12, 2010.
Note: Individuals submitting abstracts need to also register.

Abstracts for poster presentations are welcomed from the entire Dartmouth neuroscience community.

The 1st author presentations by undergraduate/graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and residents/house staff will be considered for 20 minute talks. If you would like to be considered for an oral presentation slot, please indicate in the e-mail submitting the abstract. Those selected will be notified by Friday, January 15, 2010. There will be awards presented to outstanding poster and/or oral presentations from this group. Award recipients will be announced at the keynote lecture.

Posters will be displayed in Alumni Hall throughout the day. Posters should be set up between 8:15 - 9:00 a.m. Presenters are responsible for setup and removal of posters and should be available to discuss their poster presentations between 1:15 and 3:00 p.m.

Abstract Guidelines

  • Abstracts should be limited to 400 words in length if possible
  • Arial, Size 10 font should be used
  • Please follow the example below for format:

Names of all authors, Department(s), Institution(s), Address, City, State

Acknowledgements

Abstracts should be e-mailed as a Microsoft Word document enclosure to NeuroscienceCenter@dartmouth.edu, using in the subject heading: "Last Name of first author_abstract title", i.e. Atherton_Abstract Instructions
