Training Opportunities
A T32 Translational Neuroscience Postdoctoral Training Program from the National Institutes of Health has been awarded to Dartmouth College to provide residents an additional pathway so the trainees may learn necessary skills to engage in basic science research and be better prepared to facilitate research discoveries into future treatments. The two-year program provides one-on-one mentoring and immersion during a critical early part of professional training.
The training faculty and the environment provide an exciting, interactive atmosphere that fosters the exchange of ideas and approaches, cultivates collaborations, enhances research activities, and promotes bi-directional translational research opportunities for both basic science and clinical faculty.
The program is aimed toward MD or M.D.-Ph.D. degree holders planning to or currently enrolled in a residency program in neurology, neurosurgery or psychiatry. An outline of the training proposal provides further information.
Interested candidates may submit their CV, a statement of research interest and contact information for three references to NeuroscienceCenter@dartmouth.edu.
