Course Director
David Robbins Ph.D.
This course aims to provide a solid introduction into modern pharmacology, focusing on more mechanistic aspects of therapeutics. The course will consist of a section focused on basic concepts in pharmacology, a section on more systems-level pharmacology and a section on emerging therapies. This latter section of the course will be dominated by a series of student presentations. The class will meet bi-weekly, with each session lasting approximately two hours. The average scores from two exams and one oral presentation will be used to determine the grade for the class.
