Call for Submissions

Lifelines invites submissions of original and unpublished short stories, poetry, artwork, and photographs. We are a literary journal committed to exploring the humanity of the doctor-patient relationship and to providing a creative outlet to Dartmouth medical students, health-care providers, and patients. DMS Alumni are especially invited to send submissisons.

We are currently accepting submissions for the 2009 issue. Although submissions are gladly accepted year-round, the deadline for this issue is April 30, 2009. We prefer to receive submissions electronically, but will also accept submissions by mail (see below for address).

The editorial committee will review and select works based on craftsmanship, originality, and content. Please note that all rights revert to author after first publication.

Questions and comments should be directed to lifelines@dartmouth.edu
