ArtCare Gallery, Stained Glass
A work inspired by Ms. Donna Young. A lively woman who is part Greek and part laughter. There was not a time in the conversation where she would not laugh at something. She kept her spirits high despite her fear of the doctor's diagnosis. She loves music and Stephen DeVecchi, another ArtCare worker skilled in guitar, serenaded her ears as she told the story of a crazy chipmunk that would run up her tree all the time. She was one of the youngest participants in the project and her youthfulness is portrayed by the small doggies surrounded by hearts much like some children's stickers one could find at a Hello-Kitty store. The overall layout was modeled after one she saw in a calendar.
