The Art of Healing Gallery

Mr. William Hopkins inspired this work. The motivation underlying the work embodies the goals and spirit of the stained glass project. Though not a huge art fan, he knew of another patient of nearly the same age and work background on the same floor of the hospital. He was aware that the other patient might be looking for an activity or something to uplift his downcast spirits. From his privileged viewpoint, he could see the beautiful scenery outside his window and thought to share part of that wonderful view for the other patient as well as any other patient in the hospital. Such was the basis for this piece of art depicting the trees seen from his window.
