Professional Interests:
Dr. Lee's laboratory seeks to understand the molecular pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.
The approach of this laboratory is to apply molecular, cellular, and model organism studies to explore the biological function of genes identified in human genetics. Insights gained from this approach will identify molecular mechanisms that underlie neurodegenerative diseases and highlight therapeutic targets that may be translated ultimately into novel therapies.
