Professional Interests:
Medical etymology
International Health - I direct a summer Spanish language and health delivery course in Guatemala for medical students. The project is based in Antigua, Guatemala and includes educational excursions to surrounding health delivery sites. No prior knowledge of Spanish is required, and the program is suitable for student involvement. The program is designed for preclinical medical students and is therefore observational rather than interventional. The program is supported by Ohiyesa.
