Heart Failure is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in adults, and is one of the leading syndromes consuming health care resources. Evidence based therapies have been shown to improve outcomes, but managing complex patients can be challenging due to associated co-morbid conditions. This conference is a unique opportunity in the Northern New England region to share the latest developments in the diagnosis and management of patients with heart failure.
Please join us at our 3rd Annual Heart Failure Symposium, "Advances in Heart Failure 2007" to be held at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, New Hampshire, on Monday, May 21, 2007. Again, a distinguished physician and nursing faculty will be presenting on a range of interesting topics that includes both a review of the recently published Heart Failure Guidelines as well as discussions of more advanced therapies. The afternoon breakout sessions will focus on practical aspects of heart failure management for clinicians interested in both inpatient and outpatient arenas.
The multidisciplinary program should be of interest to cardiologists, internists, hospitalists, emergency room physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses involved in the care of heart failure patients. We encourage you to register early as there is limited seating.
