Special Notes for Foreign Visitors

The Biochemistry Department is blessed with visits by many international scientists, as speakers, researchers, and students, adding to the depth of our teaching and our learning. Here is information about some of the issues faced by many visitors to the College who come from outside the United States.

Dartmouth has a wonderful International Office, whose staff are excellent in their ability to assist students and exchange visitors in getting visas appropriate to their time and activities.

The form requesting a student F-1 visa (I-20) is available directly from the International Office. Contact the International Office for information on obtaining this form.

Dartmouth has prepared its own version of the request for a J-1 visa (request for form DS-2019) for exchange visitors. Contact the International Office for information on obtaining this form.
