Faculty
The Department has 13 full-time faculty members, plus five who have dual appointments in Biochemistry and another DMS department. Our faculties are well funded for their research programs; their reputations are well known nationally and internationally. Many serve as journal editors, and as grant review board members. Five of our faculty has received Merit Awards from the National Institutes of Health; one of them is a member of the US National Academy of Sciences.
