Faculty

The Department has 13 full-time faculty members, plus six who have dual appointments in Biochemistry and another DMS department. Our faculties are well funded for their research programs; their reputations are well known nationally and internationally. Many serve as journal editors, and as grant review board members. Five of our faculty have received Merit Awards from the National Institutes of Health; two of them are members of the US National Academy of Sciences.
