Dr. Eric Donnenfeld (DC '77, DMS '80) Joins DMS Board of Overseers

"How many times in your life do you have the opportunity to work with a group of extraordinary individuals who are dedicated to a special institution that's so close to your heart?" asks Dr. Eric Donnenfeld (DC '77, DMS '80) an ophthalmologist specially trained in cornea and refractive surgery.

The "group of extraordinary individuals" Dr. Donnenfeld mentions is the Dartmouth Medical School Board of Overseers. He recently joined the Board as a new member.

Taking an active interest in the Medical School is nothing new to Dr. Donnenfeld, an international authority on laser vision correction surgery with a thriving practice in New York. Despite his busy schedule, Dr. Donnenfeld has maintained strong ties to DMS as a class agent, a member of the Dean's Council for the Future of DMS, and as a dedicated supporter of the Fund for DMS.

Now, Dr. Donnenfeld is eager to assume his new role as an Overseer. He says, "The opportunity to serve Dartmouth Medical School as a member of the Board of Overseers is a tremendous honor and I very much look forward to the challenge."
